Humanity before profit
We believe profit is the result of trust and excellence — not its purpose. At our centre lies a simple principle: genuine, continuous care for the person.
Why should effective, holistic care for one's health be reserved for moments of crisis — and confined to the walls of a clinic? The Local Sanctuary grew out of this question: a place that carries such care seamlessly into everyday life. We see health not as an episode but as a daily practice — and the person as a whole: in body, in mind, and in connection with others.
The Science of Health. The Art of Living. The Sense of Belonging.
We believe profit is the result of trust and excellence — not its purpose. At our centre lies a simple principle: genuine, continuous care for the person.
We are a community of shared values. Belonging is not decided by net worth but by disposition — by the willingness to take responsibility for one another.
Belonging is part of health. We share knowledge, inspiration and time — and create a space where masks may be set aside.
We understand ourselves as a sanctuary of freedom. Human dignity and openness are non-negotiable to us; exclusion has no place here.
Human health cannot be separated from the health of its surroundings. We aim to give back more than we take — to nature and to the region in which we work.
Sovereignty over one's health data rests entirely with the Fellow. We never sell data. Technology remains a means — the person remains the purpose.
We lead through empowerment and believe in fair, long-standing partnerships as equals — relationships built to last.
We want our work to do good beyond our walls. A defined part of it flows back — to people in need, to charitable initiatives, to the region and to research. Exactly how, we are shaping with care, and will make transparent by the time we open. We do not only draw knowledge from science — we actively give it back.
